Goodfellow Brothers has apparently resolved the Parker Ranch Connector Road dry well problem. So, the dedication of this roadway to the county is only remaining issue holding up the opening of this roadway. The latter raises some red flags for me. HELCO still reviewing HDCC’s electrical contractor new meter box plans. This means most of the Queen Kaahumanu Highway street lights will be off until these plans are approved and the new meter boxes can be installed. The current boxes can only service a certain amount street lights before the circuits overheat.
Lastly, the final roadway striping for the Queen Kaahumanu Highway extension (between Henry and Lako Street) should be completed by June.
