Eight contractors bid on the latest Saddle Road phase. Goodfellow Brothers was the lowest Schedule A bidder – 16.4 million dollars (3.9 miles of earthwork). Kirkland Construction of Colorado was the lowest Schedule B bidder – 26.2 million dollars (6.0 miles of earthwork).
The CFLHD will likely award this project to Goodfellow Brothers. GBI is the lowest Schedule A bidder. In addition, their bid is less than the allocated funding for this phase. However, I’ve inquired with the CFLHD and the HDOT to see if they secured additional funding.

The bid solicitation details the differences between Schedule A and B bids. Schedule A and B would complete 3.9 miles and 6.0 miles of earthwork (out of 10 miles).
