I decided to downgrade my Road Runner service from Turbo (15Mbps) to the Standard tier (10Mbps) on Wednesday.
The download speed issue started shortly after Oceanic increased (or introduced) the 10Mbps and 30Mbps tiers in early August. Oceanic was aware of this problem, but didn’t address it fast enough. (Speed test results from August 14th until September 20th, 2011)
I could’ve filed a DCCA CATV division complaint, but they did nothing the last time (in early 2001). In addition, I am satisfied with my downgraded service.
